Dine Around and Stay in Town returns to Greater Victoria Jan. 26 to Feb. 11
Get ready for the culinary event of the season as Dine Around and Stay in Town Victoria celebrates its 20th year from January 26 to February 11, 2024. Over 45 participating restaurants and a dozen hotels in Greater Victoria will take part in this gastronomic celebration.
Destination Greater Victoria and the BC Restaurant and Food Services Association have once again joined forces to offer food enthusiasts a chance to indulge in set menus at special prices ranging from $25 to $65. Additionally, participating hotels will provide accommodation at attractive rates ranging from $149 to $269.
Paul Nursey, CEO of Destination Greater Victoria, highlighted the event’s origins in 2004 as a means to support restaurants during the off-peak season. Over the years, Dine Around and Stay in Town has become immensely popular, contributing to Victoria’s reputation as a world-class food destination. The culinary scene, driven by innovative chefs, restaurateurs, and hoteliers, has elevated the overall visitor experience, making the region a must-visit for both local and out-of-town food enthusiasts.
The festivities kick off with the Dine Around and Stay in Town Gala on January 25 at the Victoria Conference Centre. The gala promises a delightful evening with appetizers, a selection of beverages from B.C. wineries and craft breweries, and entertainment. Note that the event is open to individuals aged 19 and older.
